Los Angeles, California - The 2028 Summer Olympics, officially known as the Games of the XXXIV Olympiad, have been officially awarded to Los Angeles, California. The city will host the event for the third time, following the 1932 and 1984 Games. The Games will take place from July 14-30, 2028.

The Games concept will utilize 100 percent existing and temporary venues, with plans to reuse or return all temporary materials after the event.
